2. Business clients only
The service is sold only to businesses and other organizations. By accepting a proposal, the client's representative confirms that they act on behalf of a business or organization and are authorized to enter into the agreement. The proposal asks for the client's business ID, VAT number or equivalent company identifier.
3. How the agreement is formed
The agreement is formed when the client accepts a written proposal and these terms in writing, for example by email or e-signature. The proposal sets out the work to be delivered, its limits, the price, any applicable taxes, the schedule and the information needed from the client.
The client's own standard or purchasing terms don't apply unless agreed in writing. If a proposal or signed project document conflicts with these terms, the proposal or project document takes precedence.
Prices shown on the website are starting prices, not binding offers.
4. What the service includes
AIGhostTools delivers clearly defined automation projects. A first project covers one agreed, recurring task and no more than three apps. The work includes the build agreed in writing, setup in the client's own n8n Cloud account, testing, user instructions and one agreed correction round.
The service is delivered remotely from Finland. The final scope, limits, price and schedule are confirmed in the proposal.
5. Price, taxes and payment
Prices and invoices are in euros. Any amount shown in another currency is an estimate only.
VAT and other taxes are handled according to applicable law and itemized in the proposal and on the invoice. The client is responsible for any taxes on the purchase in its own country.
Invoices are sent by UKKO.fi. The payment term and payment details are shown on the invoice. Payment is complete when the full invoiced amount has been received. The client pays its own bank and currency conversion fees.
Third-party fees, such as the n8n Cloud subscription, other software licenses and usage-based API fees, aren't included in the price unless the proposal says otherwise. Late payment interest and reasonable collection costs may be charged as permitted by law.
6. Client responsibilities
The client provides accurate information, the approvals needed and timely access to the agreed systems. The client is responsible for having the right to use the material and personal data needed for the work.
The client is responsible for its business decisions, the lawfulness of its operations, the security of its user accounts and its use of the delivered automation. Before testing and go-live, the client must have an up-to-date backup and a working way to restore the data involved.
If information, access, approvals or testing are delayed for reasons on the client's side, the delivery date moves accordingly.
7. Client-owned automation
Unless the proposal says otherwise, the automation is built in an environment the client owns:
- the client owns and pays for its n8n Cloud account, other software accounts, credentials and production data
- credentials are stored in the client's own credential store and aren't sent by regular email or entered into AI tools
- testing uses test data or non-production data where possible
- the client approves go-live in writing after testing
- the client names a person to receive error alerts and is responsible for operating the automation after handover
- server maintenance, ongoing monitoring, on-call support and service-level guarantees aren't included
Without a separate written agreement, the automation must not be used as the only control in a safety-critical, regulated, irreversible or 24/7 process, or for processing health, financial or other high-risk personal data. A person must approve any irreversible action before it happens.
An automation can stop working because of, for example, a third-party outage, an API change, a usage limit, an expired credential, a change made by the client or unexpected input. Investigating and fixing such a situation after handover is separate work. If the client notices unexpected behavior, the client must stop the automation.
8. Review and corrections
The client must review the delivery and report any defect that deviates from the agreement in writing within 10 business days of handover. A defect that couldn't reasonably have been noticed in that time must be reported without delay and no later than 30 days after handover. Otherwise, the delivery is considered accepted.
Jelena Alanko must first be given the chance to fix a verified defect within the agreed scope. If a fix isn't reasonably possible, the client is refunded the part of the price paid that relates to the defective part.
New features, changed requirements and other work outside the agreed scope require a separate written proposal.
9. Ownership and usage rights
Once the project has been paid in full, the client receives an unrestricted right to use, modify and copy the workflows and documentation created for the project in its own business.
Methods, reusable templates, know-how and tools that existed before the project remain with Jelena Alanko. Open-source software, third-party services and other licensed material are subject to their own terms.
10. Results and limitations
The automation is built for the task described in the proposal. No time savings, error-free operation in every situation, sales or other financial benefit is promised in advance. Examples and calculations on the website are illustrations, not client results.
If measuring the benefit is agreed, the current work is compared with the work, corrections and running costs while the automation is in use.
12. Confidentiality and data protection
The client's non-public information is kept confidential and used only to deliver the agreed service. Confidentiality doesn't apply to information that is public, independently developed or lawfully obtained elsewhere.
If the work involves personal data the client is responsible for, the parties sign a data processing agreement before work starts. Otherwise, personal data is processed according to the privacy notice.
AIGhostTools isn't a data storage or backup service. The client keeps its own data and backups.
13. Liability and limitation of liability
The work is carried out with professional skill and care. Continuous availability of third-party services isn't guaranteed, nor is suitability for a purpose the client didn't describe before the project.
Jelena Alanko is liable only for direct damage caused by a verified breach of contract. Total liability for a project is limited to the price the client paid for that project.
Liability doesn't cover indirect damage, such as lost profit, revenue, savings, business or reputation, or the loss or restoration of data. Nor does it cover damage caused by the client's instructions or information, a missing backup, credentials controlled by the client, changes made after handover, continued use after a warning, or an outage or change in a third-party service.
Claims must be made in writing without delay and no later than six months after delivery or after the damage was discovered. These limitations don't apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or to liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Cancellation, suspension and force majeure
The client may cancel the project in writing. The client pays for the work done up to cancellation and for any third-party costs already incurred that can't be cancelled.
Work may be suspended if required information, access or payment is missing, or if the requested use appears unlawful or unsafe. Either party may terminate the agreement for a material breach that isn't remedied within a reasonable time after written notice.
Neither party is liable for delay caused by an event beyond its reasonable control. The parties then agree on a new schedule together.
15. Governing law, disputes and language
The agreement is governed by Finnish law. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute through negotiation. If that fails, the dispute is settled in the South Ostrobothnia District Court (Etelä-Pohjanmaan käräjäoikeus), Finland.
These terms are available in Finnish and English. If the versions differ, the language version in which the agreement was made takes precedence.
16. Blog and free materials
Content on the blog and website is general information, not advice for an individual situation. Examples don't guarantee that anything will work in your own environment, and suitability must be checked before production use.
Any free workflows that may be published are subject to their own license and instructions. Free materials are provided as is, without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. Subscribing to the newsletter or downloading a file doesn't order a paid service.
17. Changes to these terms
Updated terms apply to new agreements from the date shown at the top of this page. Projects already under way follow the terms in force when their agreement was made, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
